Some reflections from last week’s Gathering Wands workshop with IMT Gallery (Bethnal Green - London) ✨
We began with a silent, intentional walk, carried stones, gathered wands, carved and reflected together.
As always with my workshops, this was an invitation to slow down. I find traditional meditation overwhelming, so intentional walking is my form of meditation. Many of our stories are held within the landscapes around us, helping us understand our internal worlds.
We reflected on how we often need to be given permission to stop - we know we need time out - and for many of us, a way to slow down is to connect to a natural landscape.
I loved showing people the hidden layers of Victoria Park - that even people familiar with the park hadn’t experienced before.
